Guided Meditation
National Museum of Asian Art

Join us for the National Museum of Asian Art’s weekly virtual guided meditation, in conjunction with An Italian Impressionist in Paris: Giuseppe De Nittis.
Enjoy a spotlight talk by National Museum of Asian Art Assistant Curator Kit Brooks about Pigeons of Sensoji, a painting by Watanabe Seitei that was owned by Giuseppe De Nittis.
Meditation helps us build a relationship to a place of inner quietude. Whether you’re a beginner or a skilled practitioner, join us for free online meditation sessions each week led by DC-based meditation teachers. Sessions include inspiration from art in the museum collection. All are welcome! No previous experience is required. Meet our meditation teachers: Aparna Sadananda and Philip Bender.
