Join the movement! The Phillips Collection, in partnership with the DC-Area chapter of the Wide Awakes, will gather on Saturday, October 17th from 9am to 11am at the North Entrance of the Dupont Circle Metro Station to decorate signs in the colorful, psychedelic style of the 2020 Wide Awakes. At 11am, we will walk together toward the Women’s March. Masks and social distancing are required.

Get in the Halloween spirit with a staged reading of “Art of Murder” by Joe DiPietro, featuring artists with murder on their minds! In this winner of the 2000 Edgar Award for best mystery play, celebrated artist Jack Brooks waits at his remote estate for the arrival of his dealer Vincent. Jack, determined that Vincent will sell a painting the dealer considers inferior, intends to take drastic action. Jack’s wife Annie, also a painter, shares a big secret with Jack and is aware of his plan. But she has a plan of her own. Directed by Timothy Douglas.
