For over 10 years, world-renowned Israeli-American cellist Amit Peled has taught at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Having studied with many of the major cellists of the 20th century, including Bernard Greenhouse, Laurence Lesser, and Isaac Stern, Peled passes his unique knowledge to the next generation.In collaboration with the pianist Hui Chuan Chen and students Yotam Baruch, Andrea Casarrubios, Jan Fuller, Jong Bin Kim, Jacques-Pierre Malan, and Javier Iglesias Martin, Peled presents works by Händel, Haydn, J. S. Bach, Boccherini, Ligeti, Mark Kopytmann, and the world premiere of a new work by the American composer Joel Friedman.
