About Everyday Everybody
Everyday Everybody is a DC-based band blending funk, soul, jazz, and afrobeats into a sound that’s as vibrant as their live shows. Since 2012, they’ve earned recognition as Best Local Original Band (Washington City Paper) and Best Funk Group (Wammies), with features in The Washington Post and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Tour. Known for electrifying performances, they’ve shared stages with The Wailers, Burning Spear, Cory Henry, Durand Jones & The Indications, The Suffers, and Cedric Burnside, and have headlined venues like the Black Cat and The Hamilton, with featured appearances at DC JazzFest, the Kennedy Center, and the 9:30 Club.
About Tanisha King
Tanisha King is a highly skilled massage therapist with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Known for her intuitive touch, she has a unique ability to identify and address areas of tension and discomfort. For the past 10 years, King has worked alongside a chiropractor, specializing in personal injury recovery and general spine wellness. This experience has deepened her expertise in therapeutic techniques that promote healing and long-term musculoskeletal health.
About Evidence of Yesterday
Evidence of Yesterday is a interdisciplinary creative studio and record label dedicated to exploring the intersections of sound, design, and technology. With a foundation rooted in both traditional and avant-garde artistic philosophies, the studio functions as a conduit for projects that challenge conventional boundaries while maintaining a deep reverence for craft, technique, and historical context. Evidence of Yesterday is founded by Imka, a visionary bio-therapeutic artist and composer whose work exists at the intersection of sound healing, neuroscience, and the natural world. With a deep commitment to the decompression of the mind and soul, Imka creates immersive sonic experiences that support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and holistic well-being.
About Miss H.E.R.
Miss H.E.R. is one of the premier DJs in the DMV area. She has spun sets alongside some of the greatest hip hop DJs of all time such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, J. Period, Lord Finesse, and DJ Scratch! She’s also made a guest appearance on the Real Housewives of Potomac and had her DJ mixes featured on Sway In The Morning. One of the proudest moments of her career was being tapped to spin the opening set and after party for the Lyricist Lounge 30th Anniversary Concert at the Kennedy Center, alongside hip hop legends KRS-One, Rakim, and Slick Rick! During the height of the pandemic, she was voted Best Twitch DJ for 2021 by the Washington City Paper, a testament to her growth as a musical force in DC and beyond. More recently Miss H.E.R. established Camp Lo End Theory, an annual music themed adult summer camp that continues to grow in popularity and boasts attendees from throughout the country. Now a successful DJ, businesswoman and influencer, Miss H.E.R.’s childhood dream has manifested thanks to hard work, dedication, and a passion for the music that moves us all!
