Guided Meditation
Art and Wellness

Join us for a free, 30-minute weekly meditation led by local yoga teacher Aparna Sadananda via Zoom. Each Wednesday, inspired by a work in the collection, we will practice techniques for mindful looking and thinking that we can carry with us wherever we are. No prior experience needed. Following the meditation, a Phillips Educator will give a Spotlight Talk about the artwork.
This free program requires registration. You will receive the invitation to the Zoom meeting in an email after you register.

An Update on Art & Wellness at the Phillips
For the past five years, our weekly virtual meditations have been an integral part of the museum’s art and wellness journey. Born out of a need for connection and healing during the pandemic, the meditation program was the genius idea of Donna Jonte, Phillips’s Head of Experiential Learning, and Aparna Sadananda, noted yoga and meditation teacher, whose dedication has enriched many. This program has introduced wide audiences to The Phillips Collection in a profound way, seamlessly weaving together art and mindfulness. Thank you to Donna and Aparna for leading and shaping this program and to everyone who has been able to attend.
Art and wellness programming remains a cornerstone of our mission. After careful consideration and research, our weekly meditation program will transition into a monthly Art and Wellness Club beginning April 9. This new offering will explore connections between our collection and a variety of wellness practices—all inspired by works from our collection and led by local and national wellness practitioners.
We warmly invite you to take part in the new Art and Wellness Club and all our initiatives at The Phillips Collection.
Help us continue to serve our community by providing free virtual events.
