Foundation & Government Support

Grants from local and national foundations and government agencies provide critical support for museum operations and core Phillips activities, including special exhibitions, PK-12 education, community engagement, collections care and research, as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives. Grant funding makes so much possible at the museum on 21st street, at Phillips@THEARC, and online.

Corporate Partnerships

Corporations play a critical role in supporting the Phillips. We invite you to become engaged with the museum and its wide circle of leaders, its many audiences, and the greater cultural community in Washington, DC.

The Phillips works hand-in-hand with corporations to develop mutually beneficial partnerships. Corporations may:

  • Sponsor exhibitions and special events
  • Underwrite education programming for children, families, and adults
  • Define their own unique partnership

In addition to receiving customized partnership benefits, corporate donors also receive complimentary Corporate Roundtable Program benefits tailored to their contribution level for one year.
