Tickets and Subscriptions

How do I purchase tickets?

You may purchase tickets online from the Phillips Music page, by phone (202.387.2151 x277), or in-person in the admissions lobby (box office hours 12-3 pm on the first day of each sale period—Monday, August 10, 17, 24). Due to high demand, online reservations are strongly recommended.

How much is a ticket?

A single ticket for non-members is $50. A single ticket for a Phillips Collection member is $35 (30% discount).

What does a subscription include and how much does it cost?

Season subscriptions for the 2026-27 season include one ticket to all Sunday Concerts scheduled September 27, 2026, through May 23, 2027. A single season-long subscription for non-members is $1,400. A single season-long subscription for a Phillips Collection member is $980 (30% discount).

Can I purchase a subscription for a select number of concerts?

Not at this time. We may explore the potential of custom subscriptions in the future.

If I subscribe to the season, can I get a refund on the tickets I don’t use?

No; if you do not plan on attending all of the concerts, we recommend purchasing tickets to the selection of concerts that you plan to attend. Your subscription tickets are transferable to a friend if you can’t make it. No part of a season subscription is refundable, even if a performance is canceled.

Can my tickets be transferred to another guest?

Both individual tickets and single-date ticketing associated with a subscription can be transferred to other guests. Since tickets are held for pick up at will call, ticketholders please contact reservations@phillipscollection.org with the name of the patron to whom you are transferring the tickets.

Can my individual tickets be refunded?

Refunds for individual tickets are granted only in the event of a concert being canceled. If this occurs, ticketholders will be contacted about whether they would prefer a refund or to convert the cost of their tickets into a tax-deductible donation to the Phillips.

Rush & Standby Tickets

What happens when a concert is sold out? Can I still get a ticket?

Depending on availability:

  • Limited Rush Ticket offerings on Fridays at 4 pm for Sunday Concerts. Available in-person, online, or by phone. Due to high demand, online reservations are strongly recommended.
  • Limited Standby Ticket opportunities available on a first come, first served basis dependent on availability. In-person requests only, starting at 3 pm in the admissions lobby on Sunday. Standard ticket rates apply.

Exchanges cannot be completed for rush or standby ticketing.

Seating

Is seating assigned?

Phillips Collection members at the Insider Circle level or higher enjoy reserved seating in Music Room for Phillips Music events. Advancement staff will be in contact with members at qualifying levels about their seating preferences.

How do I get general entry seating?

Seating is unassigned and available on a first come, first served basis. Seating for Sunday Concerts opens at 3:30 pm at the Goh Annex Floor 2 bridge entrance to the Music Room.

What if I am running late for a performance?

Doors for seating close promptly at 4 pm. There is no scheduled late seating for Sunday Concerts. Late seating is at the discretion of Phillips Collection staff at the Dining Room (Phillips House, Floor 1) entrance to the Music Room. Ticketholders not seated by the concert start time risk ticket forfeiture.
