Member Preview Days: Avery, Gottlieb & Rothko

This exhibition tells the story of the enduring friendship between three towering figures in American art: Milton Avery (1885–1965), Adolph Gottlieb (1903–1974), and Mark Rothko (1903–1970). It highlights the inspiration they derived from summers in Gloucester, Massachusetts, on Cape Ann, and beyond.
All members of The Phillips Collection are invited to exclusive preview days on Thursday, October 22 & Friday, October 23 from 10 am-5 pm.
Phillips Educators will lead Spotlight Tours at noon, 2 pm, and 3 pm on the third floor each day.
