Artist Process: Tomorrow the Sun Will Rise
Please note that the museum’s main elevator is currently out of service. The Art Workshop is located two flights of stairs below the main floor and is accessible by stairs only. Strollers may be parked on the first floor in Gallery 103, located immediately after the lobby, and an additional activity will be made available in an elevator-accessible gallery.
Join us for The Phillips Plays, our monthly family-friendly program.
This fall, we invite kids and caregivers to explore the creative processes of artists in our permanent collection and special exhibitions. In September, we’ll learn more about the artists featured in Tomorrow the Sun Will Rise: The Phillips Collection Juried Exhibition and make our own artworks using similar materials.
In addition to exploring art materials and methods in the studio, join a kid-friendly tour at 11 am or 12 pm or enjoy the carpeted, creative-play area with blocks, books, toys, and games.
