Learn about Jacob Lawrence as he finds inspiration in his neighborhood to create art. Follow a family’s story during the Great Migration through several generations.

Join a Phillips Educator on a tour of Jacob Lawrence’s Migration Series panels. Take a closer look, participate in a hands-on engagement, and discover the artist’s process.

Drop-in Artmaking Workshop 
Create your own Migration Series panels using the same artistic process as Jacob Lawrence.

Discover a new way to engage with art. Look closely at works by Jennifer Wen Ma and Alexander Calder and create your own imaginative sculpture out of paper.
