Inspired by The Migration Series: Five Commissioned Plays

TAMIEKA CHAVIS is a classically trained, bi-coastal actor and a proud member of the Actors Equity Association. She has been nominated for and won numerous awards, including the Daytime Emmy Awards, Indie Series Awards, and Broadway World Awards. She is also a proud member of the Black Classical Acting Ensemble at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. When not performing, you can usually find her teaching Shakespeare to middle and high schoolers as a teaching artist with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company or teaching theatre and film acting as a faculty member at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. She graduated from the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in Oxford, UK and the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC. 

CHRISTINA DANIELS is a senior BFA Theatre Arts Acting major and Television and Film minor at Howard University. At Howard, Christina has curated an extensive background in the entertainment industry. She has worked as an actor, director, producer, videographer, draper/dresser, and scriptwriter in both academic environments, university productions, as well as professional sets and theatres, including Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and The REACH at the Kennedy Center. Currently, Christina is a Disney Storytellers Fund Scholar where she is assistant directing and producing the upcoming short film, Another Time, Another Place. 

Jonathan Del Palmer is a local multi-disciplinary artist originally from Texas, but based in DC for the last decade. A trained dancer and actor, he’s been seen on a variety of stages across the country, with a majority of his time being spent acting in DC’s theatrical scene. He’s recently been seen at Arena Stage in Tempestuous Elements and at Folger Theatre in The Winter’s Tale. When not performing, Jonathan is also teaching at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. He thanks The Phillips Collection and Reg Douglas for including him in this fantastic group of storytellers.

Jonathan Feuer is a DC-based actor whose credits include Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, Mosaic Theater Company, Rep Stage, Theater J, Studio Theatre, Kennedy Center TYA, Imagination Stage, Solas Nua, Spooky Action Theater, Prologue Theatre, The Hub Theatre, Forum Theatre, The Keegan Theatre, Adventure Theatre MTC, and Quotidian Theatre Company. He is a graduate of the Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University (MFA), and a member of Actors’ Equity Association.

Ahmad Kamal is grateful to be a part of this exciting event. Previous DC credits include The Return, Pilgrims Musa and Sheri in The New World (Mosaic Theater Company), Holiday (Arena Stage), and Gloria (Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company), among others. Ahmad is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

DINA SOLTAN most recently made her Round House Theatre debut at The National Capital New Play Festival with a staged reading of Arab Spring. She appeared in Mosaic Theater’s production of Unseen. DC credits include Ada and the Engine at Avant Bard Theatre; Keffiyeh/Made in China at Mosaic Theater Company; Dhana, and The Rosebuds with Ally theatre; Or, at Theatre Prometheus; Reyjkavik at Rorschach Theatre Company; A Woman of No Importance with Scena Theatre; The Vagrant Trilogy at Mosaic Theater Company; Soldier Poet at Theatre Prometheus; Neverwhere at Rorschach Theatre Company and The Blind at The Wheel Theatre Company.

Craig Wallace is excited to participate in The Migration Series plays at The Phillips Collection directed by Reginald Douglas. Craig has appeared in multiple productions with Folger Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Everyman Theatre, Studio Theatre, Mosaic Theatre, Round House Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre. His regional credits include Actors Theatre of Louisville, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Hangar Theatre, among others. Craig holds a BFA from Howard University; an MFA from Pennsylvania State University; and he’s studied at the Royal National Theatre in London. 

Reginald L. Douglas (he/him) is dedicated to creating new work and supporting new voices and currently serves as the Artistic Director of Mosaic Theater Company of DC. He has directed at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Round House Theatre, TheaterWorks Hartford, Contemporary American Theater Festival, Everyman Theatre, Weston Theater Company, La Jolla Playhouse, Audible, Bard at the Gate, Profile Theatre, Playwrights Realm, The Kennedy Center, Pittsburgh CLO, Arizona Theatre Company, Barrington Stage, Cape Cod Theatre Project, Negro Ensemble Company, TheatreSquared, Playwrights’ Center, McCarter Theatre Center, Florida Rep, The Lark, New York Theatre Workshop, City Theatre (where he served as Artistic Producer), Studio Theatre (where he served as Associate Artistic Director), and many other national companies. Reginald has developed and directed work by nationally recognized writers including August Wilson, Dominique Morisseau, Lynn Nottage, Suzan-Lori Parks, Psalmayene 24, Idris Goodwin, Cori Thomas, Angelica Chéri, Nikkole Salter, Dael Orlandersmith, Kemp Powers, Jen Silverman, Ngozi Anyanwu, R. Eric Thomas, Brian Quijada, Matt Schatz, Amy Evans, Zakiyyah Alexander, Imani Uzuri, Dave Harris, Francisca Da Silveira, Khalil Kain, Chisa Hutchinson, Tearrance Chisholm, Josh Wilder, Larry Powell, Kareem Fahmy, Harrison David Rivers, and Donja R. Love. A proud graduate of Georgetown University, Reginald is a member of the Board of Directors of Theatre Washington and of the National New Play Network. He received the National Theatre Conference’s Emerging Professional Award in 2020 and the Georgetown University Legacy of a Dream Award in 2024.

Myeves Lucien (she/her) is a rising Senior BFA Acting Major from Howard County, MD. She currently serves as President of The Howard Players Non-Profit Organization. Her credits include: Odette/Lazare for the House that Will Not Stand, Female Understudy for In the Blood at STC, Assistant Director for Heathers: The Musical, Producer for the Next Up Festival, Head of Marketing for Seven Guitars, Assistant Costume Designer for Putnam County Spelling Bee. She also has worked for Lime Arts Productions as their Communications Director. 

ANN GREER is founding producer of theater programming at The Phillips Collection, beginning in 2010 when she also directed communications and marketing at the Phillips. Ann has produced staged readings, scenes from plays, and panel discussions, all with the goals of enriching the museum’s presentation of artists and their work and of exploring museum practice. Past programs include staged readings of Art, Six Degrees of Separation, and Vincent in Brixton; and panels on new play development in DC and August Wilson’s ten-play cycle of 20th-century Black America.
