The Phillips’ fellowship program is a comprehensive, yearlong program that includes hands-on experience, mentoring, and professional development.
The Phillips’s passionate and generous volunteers are an essential part of the museum. Volunteers greet and provide information to visitors and assist various departments.
The Phillips Collection and the University of Virginia host an annual Predoctoral Fellowship in Modern and Contemporary Art History that will support graduate-level, interdisciplinary research in American, European, or non-Western art and art history from approximately the 1750s to the present.
