Conversations with Artists

January 26, 2017, 6:30 pm

DC-based artist Dan Steinhilber is inspired by mundane found materials like garbage bags, polyethylene water bottles, and obsolete household appliances to create poetic and often participatory large-scale sculptural installations. For this conversation, Steinhilber is joined by W.C. Richardson, Professor and Chair of the Department of Art, University of Maryland.

Conversations with Artists is a lively series that provides an opportunity to hear from and speak with leading contemporary artists in an informal setting.
