Do members have to make online reservations?
No, members have access to walk-in entry, even if entry times have sold out online. Just check-in at the front desk. No advance online reservation necessary for members.
Are member guest passes being accepted at this time?
Yes, member guest passes can now be redeemed on-site for complimentary admission to the permanent collection and special exhibitions, even if entry times have sold out. As always, guest passes must be presented at admissions to be redeemed.
Please remember, guest passes are not accepted for paid events, such as Phillips after 5, Phillips Music concerts, etc.
Do non-member guests need a timed ticket if visiting with a member?
Yes, please make sure to reserve a timed ticket at normal rates for any guests not covered by member benefits or guest passes to ensure entry.

Are you accepting Reciprocal members at this time?
Yes, qualifying members of reciprocal organizations are now allowed walk-in entry and are no longer required to make advance reservations. Reciprocal members will need to present active membership cards from their home institution reflecting the appropriate level of benefits to receive complimentary entry.

Visitor Experience
Is there an audio guide available?
Yes! Introducing our new digital guide. Download the free Bloomberg Connects app before your visit or in the galleries to use the exhibition audio guide. For free Wi-Fi during your visit, join “Phillips”. Don’t forget to bring earphones!
Is the Museum Shop open?
The Museum Shop is open to visitors during open hours. If capacity allows, walk-ins are welcome.
The Museum Shop also offers curbside pickup. Please select pickup at checkout. Order processing takes 2-4 days. Once you are notified that your order is prepared, please call the shop at 202.387.2151 x238 or x239 to arrange a time for pickup between 11am-5pm, Thursday to Sunday. The Museum Shop is also open 24/7 online!
Is the café open?
Yes, visit Lost Sock Roasters in the Vradenburg Café for a variety of beverage and food selections. Click here for more information.
Ticketing
Am I able to refund/exchange my tickets onsite?
No, all ticket transactions must be done online. Contact reservations@phillipscollection.org for ticket exchanges.
Can I call to reserve tickets?
Tickets must be reserved online. No walk-ins at this time for non-members.
Groups and Tours
Is the Phillips doing any in-person programming?
Yes! In addition to the events listed on our events page, we offer daily 15-minute Spotlight Talks at 1 & 1:30 pm on one work of art.
Can I host private events at the Phillips?
The Phillips is currently hosting limited on-site events. Please contact Keith Costas, Director of Special Events, at kcostas@phillipscollection.org for availability and our health and safety protocols. Virtual experiences are also available.
Is the Phillips hosting in-person school tours?
The Phillips Collection offers guided Pre-K12 school tours. Learn more
The Phillips also supports teachers and students through virtual offerings, including pre-recorded and live virtual tours, online lessons, and virtual professional development sessions. Please contact tours@phillipscollection.org for more information.

I am coming with a group on a bus. Where can we get dropped-off?
No bus parking, idling, or drop off/pick up is allowed in front of the museum. Drop off/pick up exception for seniors and visitors with disabilities. Suggested bus drop off along Massachusetts Avenue.
