Event Details
Please join your fellow Contemporaries at the historic Arts Club of Washington to celebrate the work on view of DC-based artist Joel Vincii.
Built in 1805, the Arts Club of Washington is a good example of Federal period architecture, and has had a series of distinguished residents. Most notably James Monroe, who occupied it as United States Secretary of War and as President of the United States while the White House was restored after the War of 1812. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975, it is now home to the Arts Club of Washington.
Joel Vincii is an emerging artist from DC whose work is gaining national attention. Joel has spoken at the National Gallery of Art and was recently awarded an arts grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities to continue to explore his craft.
