General Support

General Support

Unrestricted gifts, above and beyond membership contributions, help to keep the Phillips strong and vibrant. General support contributions go toward a wide range of needs at the Phillips, including maintenance of the 1897 Phillips house and expanded modern facilities, outstanding special exhibitions, engaging educational outreach, and the conservation of works of art.

General support provides resources for award-winning Phillips programs. It also nurtures the museum's growth, empowering the Phillips to reach out in exciting new ways to our community and beyond. These endeavors, while sometimes behind the scenes, are critical to ensuring the museum's efficient operation, as well as to offering visitors opportunities for personal enrichment and lifelong learning.

These tax-deductible gifts go directly to areas of greatest need within the museum. No matter what its size, your gift will play an invaluable role in the future of the museum and have an impact on all who come to enjoy the Phillips.

Give General Support

Gifts of general support can also be a meaningful way to honor or commemorate someone important in your life. We will acknowledge your gift with a note informing a selected family member or friend of your contribution to the Phillips.
