Provenance Research at The Phillips Collection

Of the nearly 3,000 works of art in The Phillips Collection, approximately 250 paintings, works on paper, and sculpture were created before 1945 and acquired after 1933.

In accordance with guidelines established by the American Association of Museums, The Phillips Collection provides access to collection records and continues to research the provenance of its entire collection.
