The Illinois at the Phillips program offers university students a fully accredited fall or spring semester in Washington, D.C., with courses in art history, museum studies, and related topics. A part of The Phillips Collection Center for the Study of Modern Art, the program is administered by the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and directed by Jonathan Fineberg, Gutgsell Professor of Art History.
Classes are held at the Center for the Study of Modern Art. The program includes trips to other museums, guided by faculty. For more information on the courses which are now being offered, see the course list.
