This season marks Konstantin Soukhovetski’s debuts with the Houston Symphony, TX and The Manchester Music Festival Orchestra, VT as well as critically acclaimed debut recital at London’s Wigmore Hall. Mr. Soukhovetski returns this season to perform with the Asheville Symphony, NC and Austin Symphony, MN. This season’s recitals include The Steinway Hall, NYC; Piano en Valois Festival in Angouleme, France; Southampton Cultural Center, NY; Elmira College, NY; Ridotto Series in Huntington, NY and Music for Youth, Southport, CT among others. Mr. Soukhovetski is the Silver Medal and Audience Prize winner of 2010 Ima Hogg International Competition in Houston, TX and is recipient of the Bronze Medal at the 2011 Bosendorfer International Piano Competition in Tempe, AZ.

Winner of the prestigious William Petschek Debut Recital Award, Mr. Soukhovetski appeared last season with The Louisiana Philharmonic, LA; Kennett Symphony, PA; Baton Rouge Symphony, LA; Acadiana Symphony. Among his solo recitals were “Evelyn Miller” Series in Knoxville, TN; Gala for Auburn Symphony Orchestra, Auburn, CA; Manchester Music Festival, VT, 21-Century Club, Cleveland, OH; The Prizery, South Boston, VA and at Loyola University’s Roussel Hall presented by the Music Society of New Orleans. Following his 2006 William Petschek Debut Recital Award performance at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, NY The New York Times headlined its review “Romanticism so intense it warms up Philip Glass.”

Mr. Soukhovetski has worked with an array of distinguished conductors, among them: Daniel Meyer, Gérard Korsten, Rebecca Miller, James DePriest, Emmanuel Siffert, Jahja Ling, François-Xavier Roth, Doron Salomon, Timothy Muffitt, Conrad von Alphen, Michael Goodwin, Steven Ramsey, Mary Woodmansee Green, Enrique Bátiz, Alan Stephenson, David Scarr, Omri Hadari, Andrew Grams and Emil Tabakov.

Career Highlights of the past several seasons include: Asheville Symphony, NC; Juilliard Symphony, NYC; Auburn Symphony Orchestra, CA; Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, LA, 14-performance tour of South Africa in March 2007, Rockefeller University, NYC; Louvre Museum, Paris, Pianofest gala at Music Academy of The West, Santa Barbara, CA, Amman, Jordan and Beirut, Lebanon; Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall; Pro Arte Musical, San Juan, Puerto Rico Mr. Soukhovetski also performed on Regent’s Seven Seas Voyager with the members of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra. ”. His radio appearances have included a one-hour live performance on NPR’s Performance Today hosted by Fred Child; a feature on WQXR’s Young Artist Showcase and TV appearances on South Carolina’s Talk of the Town and Lowcountry Today talk-shows.
