Swiss pianist Olivier Cavé studied at the Conservatory of Sion and then at the Conservatory of Lausanne, where he graduated with a special prize and the congratulations of the jury. He has taken master classes with Maria Lilia Bertola in Milan, Nelson Goerner in Geneva, and Maria Tipo at the Fiesole Music School. Mr. Cavé gave his first concert  at age 14 with the Camerata Lysy under the baton of Yehudi Menuhin. He has collaborated with such artists as Alexis Weissenberg, Menahem Pressler, Arie Vardi, Aldo Ciccolini, Howard Griffiths, Tibor Varga, Barbara Hendricks, and Isabelle Huppert. He was a solo performer with the Symphonic Orchestra of Dusseldorf, the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra Galileo Galilei in Fiesole, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Cavé can be heard on the Deutsche Grammophon and Aeon labels.
