Pianist Irina Nuzova has performed at the prestigious Amici della Musica concert series in Florence; Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Italy; State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg; and at the Moscow Conservatory. In the United States she has appeared at The Phillips Collection, Bar Harbor Music Festival in Maine, Kosciuszko Foundation in New York, Rhode Island Chamber Music Concerts, and the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts series in Chicago. Ms. Nuzova has won top prizes as a piano soloist and as a chamber ensemble pianist in international competitions, including the Vincenzo Bellini and Città di Senigallia international competitions in Italy, the Bruce Hungerford Prize at the Young Concert Artist International Auditions in New York, and the Beethoven Piano Sonata International Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. A native of Moscow, Ms. Nuzova made her debut with the Omsk Philharmonic at the age of 14 while attending the Gnessin School of Music, where she studied under Alexander Satz. She completed her education at Manhattan School of Music with Lev Natochenny, and at the Juilliard School of Music with Oxana Yablonskaya and Jerome Lowenthal. Ms. Nuzova also studied with renowned French pianist Jean-Bernard Pommier and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut.
