Composer and pianist Timo Andres performed Etude No. 16 by Philip Glass at The Phillips Collection on January 11, 2015, as part of the Sunday Concerts series. Andres paired several of these new etudes by Philip Glass with Impromptus of Franz Schubert, proposing that the composers share more in common than just their birthdays (January 31st), generations apart.
