Ellsworth Kelly: Panel Paintings 2004–2009
(Jun 22–Sep 22, 2013)
Artist Ellsworth Kelly discusses his exhibition with Director Dorothy Kosinski and Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art Vesela Sretenović.
On the occasion of Ellsworth Kelly’s 90th birthday year, this exhibition presents seven large-scale multi-panel works featuring a spectrum of colors that have dominated the artist’s prolific over-60-year career. Abstract in form, they seem to hover on the wall, dramatically engaging with space and playing with light and shadow.
