Explore the diversity and originality of Danish artist Per Kirkeby through “Some Assembly Required,” an interactive performance workshop led by the Pittsburgh-based troupe Attack Theatre. Participants will learn a method of engaging students with Kirkeby’s abstract art by utilizing the troupe’s critically acclaimed improvisation techniques, combined with themes from the exhibition Per Kirkeby: Paintings and Sculpture. Kirkeby’s art reflects his unique background as a geologist, filmmaker, author, and visual artist and is ideal as a catalyst to an evening of hands-on professional development.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move. Registration includes refreshments and teacher resources.
