School Visits

School programs at the Phillips support a range of learning styles, make connections to classroom curricula, and appeal to a wide variety of learners. Cross-curricular themed tours are available for school groups from kindergarten through 8th grade. High-school teachers may request guided tours that focus on topics relevant to their classroom objectives.

Tour length: one hour and 15 minutes
Tour times: 10 am, 11:30 am
Tour days: Tuesday through Friday
Fee: School tours are free, with a suggested donation of 50 cents per student
Group size: a maximum of 50 students per tour, plus accompanying adults
Required chaperones: All school groups must be accompanied by adult chaperones. For kindergarten through 3rd grade, one adult is needed for every five students. For grades 4 and up, one adult is needed for every ten students. Teachers and chaperones are asked to take an active role in encouraging and assuring appropriate student behavior.
Reservations: We recommend booking school tours at least 30 days in advance. A limited number of bus stipends are available for Title I schools.
